The Makkoli Mafia Family dates back to the earliest days in Telarian history. After what is commonly known as "The Sunday Suffering" (the slaying of over 30 different merchants by the Defiant on a surprise raid in Silverwood) a group of former merchants banded together vowing to never allow such a massacre to occur again. This is the first written record of the Makkoli Mafia Family or Makkoli Mafia. Since then, the organization has expanded into a large group of elite warriors. Secretive in their nature, their rituals and meetings remain closed to the public. Growing in strength, they have chosen several strategic alliances with other guilds to ensure the success of the Guardians and most importantly the defeat of the Defiant.
