The health attribute measures how much damage a character can take before it dies. Characters generally lose one point of health for each point of damage they take. When a character's health pool reaches zero, the character dies.

Calculating Health[]
Health is determined by the endurance attribute
1 point Endurance = +9 Maximum Health
Also, every level a character gains a certain amount of bonus health points that constitues over time a "base health". That base health is 0 at level 1.
Health Regeneration and Recovery[]
Health can be recovered immediately through healing spells, potions, and various other items.
Health also regenerates naturally. This regeneration can be assisted by healing spells, potions, and various other items.
