Used in the quest "Lakeside Investigation". To progress the quest you must talk to this NPC. This action is followed by investigating Lakeside Outpost docks. When spoken to, this NPC says:
"Greetings Ethian! I am doing normal human things because I am a normal human."
She is in fact an Abyssal Deep One in disguise. In the quest "Washed Away", she is one of several town NPCs that you may use the quest item [Transmutation Idol] to reveal the Deep One, and destroy it. The body of the real Lena Linder can be found in a building at Old Meadow Farm.
