Runes[ | ]
Runes are created at a workbench by a runecrafter using runeshards which are obtained after having used the Runebreak skill on a magical item.
Runes are consumable goods. By right clicking on a rune, its power may be added to whichever piece of equipment that rune is for, as noted on it's tooltip. Rune bonuses range from stat bonuses to spell/melee power/crit chances and even to passive skill bonuses in dodge, parry, and block.
The runes obtained by purchasing the Collector's Edition of the game, are reusable and the effects from the runes decay over time.
