It's glorious to be Ascended, eh Tiella? I thought my days of slaying demons were over when the rifts came, but the Vigil gave us one more chance for vengeance.

I was born to slay demons. I grew up in Mathosia and loved the stories my father used to read, with all their grisly tales of dragon cults and the formation of the Ward against Regulos. I made it my life's purpose to hunt down the evil monstrosities that plague this world.
Across my travels I've faced legendary battles, if I do say so myself, but nothing compares to the battle at Thedeor Fields. We were actually trouncing the tyrant Aedraxis when he took the path of the coward and brought the shadow of Regulos into our midst.
Dying was no pleasant thing, let me tell you, but I'm glad it happened. I've never felt the zeal for battle that I feel now.
